The Novartis sponsored poster competition took place on Saturday 14 October at the National Conference. Congratulations to our winners, well done!

  • Best Overall Poster – Olive Gallagher – Training Needs Analysis for Nurses Caring for Cancer Patients in the Saolta University Healthcare Group.
  • Best Up and Coming – Niamh Clarke – A Service Evaluation of Scalp Cooling for patients undergoing chemotherapy to help reduce hair loss.
  • Best Clinical Initiative – Jun Cao – Community-Centered Pre-Chemotherapy Phlebotomy Clinic: An integration between Tallaght University Hospital Oncology Day Ward (ODW) and the South Dublin Community Intervention Team (SD CIT).

The prize is a €400 bursary to register for a an educational conference in 2024, e.g. ECCO/EONS/UKONS.
