IANO Conference 2026 Competitions

Poster Competition (Now Open)
Abstract submissions are open from Tuesday, 3 February to Friday, 13 March, for our poster competitions. Prizes will be awarded in three categories:

• Best Overall Poster
• Best Up-and-Coming
• Best Clinical Initiative

The popular Delegates’ Choice Award also returns for 2026, recognising the poster selected by peers. We encourage submissions of audits, research projects, quality initiatives, reference projects, or case studies—large or small. Posters are a valued part of the conference, supporting networking, collaboration, and showcasing the impact of cancer nursing.

Sheila Clarke Award (Now Open)
The IANO is proud to continue the Sheila Clarke Award, awarded biennially to a staff nurse in recognition of their contribution to cancer care in a clinical setting. Nominations come from colleagues and may reflect leadership, mentorship, innovation, audit, or dedication to patient care that improves outcomes.

The recipient—whether early in their career or highly experienced—will receive an award to attend a conference, site visit, or similar educational opportunity. Please consider nominating a deserving colleague; full details are also available in the Members Content section of the IANO website.
