The date for IANO conference this year will be Saturday 25 September 2021. It will take place in The Johnstown Estate Enfield Co Westmeath, in a hybrid format. We are working with a professional communications company Sound and Vision. We have had numerous meetings with these parties over recent weeks to ensure the safest most inclusive format is established.
The overall content of the conference will be broadly in line with what we have come to expect from a regular face-to-face IANO conference, including oral presentations, poster competition and Presidents Prize. This hybrid event will have delegate numbers limited to 50. This is in order to ensure all Public Health Guidelines are adhered to and we protect our members and indeed the patients we care for. There will be an option to view the conference live for members who do not wish to attend or were unsuccessful in registering for one of those 50 places.
From a pharmaceutical standpoint, companies have the option of exhibiting a video insert virtually. This will be available for IANO members to view and, also there will be an opportunity to interact with delegates in a dedicated zoom meeting room. There will be unmanned pharmaceutical stands for the day of the conference.
We hope to have a dynamic and well attended conference. The NEC thanks you in advance for your continued support and we hope you appreciate the necessity to minimize delegates on the day.
Registration will open on September 1st at 9am; it will be on a first come first served basis.
