Welcome Note
The Limerick Branch is one of the IANO’s regional networks, established over 20 years ago to organise local educational and professional activities for oncology nurses in the Mid-West region of Ireland.
The branch aims to provide regional educational meetings and networking opportunities (typically 2–4 events per year) for nurses working in cancer care. Our circulation/contact list includes the Hospitals in the Mid-West area, University of Limerick (student nurses), Public Health Nurses, Practice Nurses, Community Intervention Team, Homecare Team, Milford Hospice and all Nursing Homes in the Mid-West area. Other disciplines are also most welcome to attend.
Membership is open to any nurse, and the branch includes members from various cancer-care settings such as inpatient units, outpatient oncology day units, community nursing, hospice, and more.
