The Cork network of the IANO was founded in 1994. There four hospitals in Cork which treat Oncology Patients are Cork University Hospital, The Bons Secours Hospital, The South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital and The Mercy University Hospital.

We also work closely with MaryMount University Hospital and Hospice. The aim of the network is to provide a programme of education for nurses working in oncology both in the hospital and the community setting. Our network aims to connect the hospital and community, facilitating networking between nurses caring for patients who are being treated for cancer. We currently run two education evenings per year, usually in the Winter and the Spring. If you are interested in hearing more about the Network or would like to get involved contact Paula O’Donovan on Paula.ODonovan1@hse.ie. Paula is a member of the National Executive Committee of the IANO.
