Introduction to The Colorectal Cancer Nurses Group (CRCNG)
The CRCNG was formed in 2007. A group of nursing professionals involved in Colorectal Cancer Nursing met together and found it so useful that we decided to form the CRCNG. It includes interested professionals involved in the screening, diagnosis, treatment or follow up of colorectal patients.
The CRCNG are committed to the creation of a network of colleagues involved in Colorectal Cancer Nursing.
We anticipate that this network will provide support, allow information exchange and promote the identity of Colorectal Cancer Nursing as a specialty.
- Promote an awareness of colorectal Cancer Nursing as a specialty.
- Create a credible network of like minded colleagues to provide support and information exchange.
- Facilitate links with relevant specialty groups (Stoma Care/Coloproctology/Oncology).
