WHO ARE WE?
The Irish Association for Nurses in Oncology is an non-profit organisation that promotes continuing nurse education and provides a forum for exchange of knowledge for members of the oncology nursing profession.
OUR MEMBERS
Membership of the IANO runs from 1st January to 31st December and costs just €35.
Any person who is a member of the nursing profession is eligible to be a member.
PUBLICATIONS
Cancer Nursing News is a quarterly publication published by the IANO. Each issue focuses on a particular theme, with a number of authors contribiting articles on various aspects of the topic.

The 1st is a “Letter to the Editor” section. The best letter in this section will get €50 from the IANO. It may be controversial, humorous or informative. Please keep it to 300 words.
The 2nd section is “Article of Interest” section. This should be from 800 – 1500 words and should be clinically based. It may be about an audit carried out in your area, a standard of care which you use, outcomes of some research carried out as part of a higher education programme.
The published article will receive €200.
